Q: How do I get reimbursed if I paid out of pocket for a covered medication?

A: If you paid of pocket for your medication for any reason, you may submit a paper claim to us to be reimbursed for your medication cost. Please email us at contact@medtipster.com and include the following information:

  • Copy of your prescription ID card
  • Reason for reimbursement (Out of Country, problem at pharmacy, or etc.)
  • Copy of your prescription receipt. Cash register receipts will not be accepted. The prescription receipt must include the following information:​​​​​​
    • Patient Name
    • Date of Fill
    • Prescription number
    • Quantity
    • Day supply
    • Drug name including strength and form or NDC number
    • Pharmacy Name and Address or Pharmacy NABP number
       

Please note: Submission of the requested information does not guarantee payment of your claim. Your submission will be reviewed, and you will be contacted by email within 1-2 business days.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS – To avoid having to submit a paper claim form:

  • Always have your card available at time of purchase.
  • Always use pharmacies in your network.
  • Use medication from your formulary list.
  • If problems are encountered at the pharmacy, please call 877-226-2378.
